Anker Hotel Oslo

Room was small and not GREAT, but breakfast was fantastic! Would choose again for the breakfast alone. Photos are deceptive.

The hotel's location is spot on, right by the city centre, making it super easy to explore Oslo, plus just a quick 20-minute hop from the airport. The rooms were always clean, and I loved that we could check in early; such a bonus when arriving at 10 AM. The breakfast was excellent, and we found the garden area perfect for chilling out on a sunny day. The only downside was the slightly dodgy area nearby, but we just took a different route back at night 🌆.

I keep coming back for business. Staff's sweet attitude towards my old parents touched my heart. The place suits me perfectly, offering Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, bar, snack bar, flat-screen TV. No regrets; everything I need is here.

The spacious room comfortably accommodated our large family, and the buffet breakfast provided a good start to our days of exploring. It was convenient to visit the Royal Palace and Aker Brygge, both a short 20-minute trip away, as well as the Opera House, which was just a 15-minute journey. Additionally, SNO and Oslo Winter Park offered enjoyable activities suitable for families, making our stay even more memorable.

My wife says that a children's play area in the hotel would have been a nice addition, especially for younger kids.

I chose this hotel for attending a convention, and I found the modern and bright meeting rooms perfect for small meetings.

The one service that I missed for my work was a dedicated business center with printing and copying facilities.

The location of the hotel was very convenient, close to public transport and places to eat. My room was clean and tidy, with enough sockets for all my devices. The breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of options to choose from.

Although the bathroom was small, the shower had no base , made it inconvenient to use.

The deluxe twin room with a sofa bed was perfect for our family. The beds were comfy, and the sofa bed was great for the kids. The Nespresso machine was a lifesaver, and the view of Akerselva from the deluxe double room was breathtaking. As a parent, the spacious and well-equipped rooms made our stay stress-free.

One small double room didn't have the best city view, but that's just my personal preference.

Loved the colorful chairs and modern sofas in the lobby, felt so at home. And the tram stop right in front of the hotel made exploring the city a breeze.

Oh, and who doesn't love being awoken by construction noise at the crack of dawn? Such a delightful way to start the day.
